If you’ve built that moat to allow you to do that sustainably, well done. More often than not, over the long run human drive at a societal level will create competition and this won’t be sustainable.

We're building the VMware for GPUs. Most GPUs in the cloud sit idle a lot of the time because they're bolted to one machine over PCIe. We decouple them.

Our virtualization layer is a userspace shim, loaded through LD_PRELOAD, that intercepts CUDA calls and ships them over the network to a host with a physical GPU somewhere else in the data center. Workloads run unchanged. When a process goes idle, the GPU detaches and gets reassigned, and reattaches in tens of milliseconds when it's needed again. Think Ceph for GPUs: the GPU becomes a network resource a cluster-wide scheduler can pool and pack.

The hard part is making that fast. We're within ~10% of native on most AI workloads, and it lets us serve ~1.8x more users on the same fleet. We run it in production as our own GPU cloud and sell it to enterprises with underutilized fleets.

We build foundation models for tabular data. Deep learning transformed text and images but mostly skipped tables, which are still the data behind most clinical trials, financial models and scientific experiments. The reason is structural: no natural sequence, no spatial structure, no shared vocabulary across datasets, so the architectures and scaling laws behind LLMs don't transfer.

Our approach: pre-train a transformer on millions of synthetic datasets sampled from causal-structure priors. The whole dataset goes in as context, predictions come out in one forward pass. No per-dataset training, no hyperparameter tuning, seconds instead of hours. TabPFN v2 was published in Nature and set a new state of the art; TabPFN-3 scales to 10M rows. 4M+ downloads, 8k+ GitHub stars, in production from liquid biopsy to rail maintenance. I'm looking for an applied cryptographer to review a protocol specification before it ships. It is small and specific: three messages, two parties, signature-based, using hardware-backed keys on both iOS and Android. It uses standard primitives only (ECDSA over P-256, SHA-256) and invents no new cryptography; the question is how they are combined. The specification is written and frozen, with test vectors and the generator that produces them.

What I want is a competent second opinion on whether it is sound: six specific questions answered in writing. Not an open-ended audit or a penetration test. The person I'm looking for has either published on protocol security or reviews protocols professionally; being good with crypto libraries isn't quite the same thing.

We're ~160 people, fully remote, building an AI marketing platform. Our main product is OTTO, which runs a site's SEO on its own - it reads live search data and pushes the technical and on-page fixes itself, nobody queues them up. Around that we've got ad automation for Google and Meta, GBP management for multi-location brands, content gen, and LLM visibility tracking (whether ChatGPT and co are citing you). Autotrader, Hyundai, P&G, Vendasta are some of our customers.

Work happens in pods, 1 PM and 2-4 engineers. You own your pod's roadmap and ship it with them, no veteran PM signing off on your specs first. That's the part most PM roles won't hand you.

Looking for 3+ years PM in B2B SaaS with an actual technical background - eng or QA before PM, or a PM who's been getting into the codebase themselves. You should be able to read Python and TS, write your own SQL, find your way around an API, and not need an engineer to tell you what a stack trace says. We're Django on the back, React/Next on the front. QA is yours end to end including release sign-off, people tend to underestimate that bit. And you're already using Claude Code or similar daily, not "open to it".

I’m Chris, VP Engineering at Fazeshift. We’re nine engineers plus our Founder/CTO and me, and I’m hiring someone who can help us do more, better: increase both what we can build and the quality and sophistication of the software we build.

Accounts receivable sounds boring until you look under the hood. It sits at the intersection of money, business relationships, software systems of various vintages, and a huge amount of repetitive human work. Instead of giving finance teams another dashboard to stare at, we’re building AI agents that actually do the work across billing, collections, payments, cash application, and the systems connecting them. We’ve grown revenue 12x since 2024, and eight unicorns now run AR on Fazeshift.

A big part of what makes the engineering interesting is that we’re intentionally not the system of record. Our customers already run on ERPs, CRMs, banks, billing systems, payment processors, spreadsheets, and internal software, so we have to understand state across systems we don’t control, act safely in them, and recover when reality disagrees with what an API says should have happened. A timeout doesn’t necessarily mean a write failed. Webhooks can arrive late or twice. A payment may not contain enough information to identify an invoice. In those cases, blindly retrying can be exactly the wrong thing to do.

We use coding agents heavily ourselves. Engineers use Conductor, stacked PRs, Linear, and multiple frontier models every day, with internal skills and tooling that let agents drive and validate our local development environment. We’re especially interested in engineers whose development workflow has already materially changed because of coding agents: people who are comfortable delegating meaningful work, keeping independent threads moving in parallel, debugging where agents get stuck, and improving the surrounding system when the workflow breaks down. But generated code is still your code. Judgment, debugging, systems thinking, taste, and understanding what actually shipped matter more here, not less.

Our development style is roughly: design enough to find the shape of the problem, then build to learn. There’s a short distance here between noticing a problem, deciding what should happen, building it, and seeing the result in production with our customers. You’ll own meaningful problems from ambiguity through design, implementation, rollout, and production, and you’ll work directly with the people affected by what you build.

If you’ve built scrapers recently, you already know the state of the market:

- Traditional proxy providers (Bright Data, Oxylabs, Smartproxy, Proxybase) give you raw IPs or massive unparsed HTML blobs, leaving you to deal with DOM bloat, token waste, and brittle parsing pipelines.

- Modern tools like Firecrawl or Jina made clean Markdown extraction easy for hobby setups, but they often struggle when you throw heavy SPAs, high-concurrency jobs, or hardened anti-bot walls (Cloudflare Under-Attack / Turnstile, Kasada, DataDome) at them.

- Rolling your own Playwright / Puppeteer cluster works until target sites deploy new JA4/TLS fingerprints, and your data team ends up spending 30% of their sprints fixing broken crawlers instead of shipping product.

We're tackling this by combining a low-latency Rust fast-fetch engine (JA4/TLS and HTTP/2 frame emulation) with an isolated stealth browser fleet, zero-code schema validation (JSON Schema/Pydantic), and native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support.

Trade-offs / where we fit: If you just need to curl a few static Wikipedia pages, a 10-line Python script is better and cheaper. But if you need reliable, structured data out of bot-defended sites without babying headless browsers, that's what we do.

We're looking for:

1. Rust Systems Engineer: High-concurrency network I/O, Axum/Tokio, TLS/BoringSSL fingerprinting, proxy routing matrices, and low-latency data pipelines.

2. Browser Security Engineer: Deep familiarity with browser internals (Firefox/Chromium source), canvas/WebGL/audio fingerprint evasion, CDP/WebDriver stealth, and familarity with anti-bot defenses.

This particular architecture is a bit more challenging than most, because it's a bit unique. It's a VLIW [3], so it's a great opportunity to learn about an interesting architecture.
